Deacon Brian Matthew Delp was ordained to the Diaconate in December 2023 by Archbishop Daniel during a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at our parish in Dover, FL. Prior to this, he had served for many years in the altar before attending classes at St. Sophia Ukrainian Orthodox Seminary, where he was awarded a Master of Arts in Applied Orthodox Studies.  He previously earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh (1994).  Dn. Brian also continues to work as a retail pharmacist of more than 30 years, serving his community and their needs. He and his Pani Matka Rebecca have been married for as many years and have raised 3 of their own children into adulthood while also often opening their home for several “bonus” children who needed safety and support.
